Who We Are

Paradigm Medical Communications, LLC is an award-winning medical education company that develops innovative, well-designed, well-executed continuing medical education activities that are based on thoroughly researched needs assessments and are monitored continuously to facilitate ongoing improvements.

Paradigm has experience in developing and implementing CME programs in a wide variety of formats, including live events; print newsletters, monographs, and peer-reviewed journal supplements; electronic media (such as DVD); and web-based activities (including website design, development, and maintenance) as well as interdisciplinary web conferences, webinars, and podcasts.

While Paradigm Medical Communications, LLC is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians, we also have several long-standing collaborative relationships with the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)-accredited providers that enable our activities to offer continuing education credit to the broadest range of identified target audiences.

All activities developed and implemented by Paradigm Medical Communications are in adherence with the Essentials and Standards of the ACCME as well as guidelines established by the AMA, OIG, PhRMA, and FDA.

By working with thought leaders in various therapeutic areas, Paradigm Medical Communications is committed to developing impactful and innovative medical education activities designed to improve patient care strategies and patient quality of life by modifying physician behavior through the use of evidence-based, compelling, and applicable information.

Cme-Accredited Provider

Paradigm Medical Communications, LLC is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Paradigm has been an ACCME-accredited provider of continuing medical education since 2007. We completed our 4-year reaccreditation in 2009.

Mission Statement

Paradigm Medical Communications' mission is to provide educational initiatives designed to bridge identified professional practice gaps of physicians and other health care professionals.

Purpose

The purpose of our Continuing Medical Education (CME) program is to support the continuing professional development of practicing physicians by collaborating with medical experts in a variety of therapeutic areas in the development of state, national, and international education programs.

Content Areas

The content areas of activities sponsored by our CME program include, but are not limited to, the following therapeutic areas: oncology, dermatology, diabetes, aesthetic medicine, hyponatremia, invasive fungal disease, infectious diseases, respiratory disease, cardiovascular disease, men's health, rheumatology, and thrombosis

Target Audience

Categories of learners targeted for education include:

  • US-based physicians and other health care professionals who participate in local, regional, or national activities
  • International health professionals who attend national conferences and/or access internet CME activities

Types of Activities

The types of activities developed include:

  • Live activities (symposia, local and regional meetings, hospital-based/Grand Rounds, hands-on and simulation workshops, satellite broadcasts)
  • Enduring materials (DVDs, peer-reviewed journal supplements, print monographs/newsletters)
  • Internet CME (websites, interactive cases, webinars, podcasts)

Paradigm develops activities designed to meet the preferences of our learners. This means that multiple formats are considered and implemented based on the needs of each target audience and educational intervention.

Expected Results

The results expected from all educational activities are to demonstrate a change in the competence and/or performance of health care professionals and to ultimately impact patient outcomes. Continued program evaluation and assessment assists us in ensuring that activity content is relevant to learner's current educational gaps.
