Paradigm Medical Communications, LLC is a multiple award-winning medical education company that develops innovative medical education activities. We expertly tailor all of our initiatives to fulfill the needs of diverse, sophisticated clinical audiences and diligently monitor ongoing activities to facilitate continuous growth and improvement.
Paradigm has experience in developing and implementing CME activities in a wide variety of formats, including live events; print newsletters, monographs, and peer-reviewed journal supplements; electronic media; and web-based activities, including on-demand webinars, podcasts, mobile applications, and interdisciplinary web conferences, as well as website design, development, and maintenance.
Paradigm Medical Communications, LLC is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians. Paradigm has been an ACCME-accredited provider of continuing medical education since 2007. In 2013, Paradigm Medical Communications, LLC was resurveyed by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) and awarded accreditation through 2017 as a provider of continuing medical education for physicians.
All activities developed and implemented by Paradigm Medical Communications are in compliance with the Essentials and Standards of the ACCME, as well as guidelines established by the AMA, OIG, PhRMA, and FDA.
We also have several long-standing collaborative relationships with providers accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) that enable our activities to offer continuing education credit to the broadest range of identified target audiences.
Paradigm Medical Communications, LLC is dedicated to providing effective education based on the needs of the medical community. Working with key thought leaders in a variety of important therapeutic areas enables us to develop dynamic, innovative medical education activities designed to improve patient care strategies and patient quality of life by modifying clinician behavior through the presentation of evidence-based, compelling, and pertinent information.
Paradigm is the 2014 recipient of the NAMEC award for Best Practice in Collaboration. Paradigm is a past recipient of the NAMEC Award for Best Practice in Educational Design and Evaluation and the Alliance for CME Award for Outstanding CME Collaboration.
Paradigm Medical Communications' mission is to provide educational initiatives designed to bridge identified professional practice gaps of physicians and other health care professionals.
The purpose of our Continuing Medical Education (CME) program is to support the continuing professional development of practicing physicians by collaborating with medical experts in a variety of therapeutic areas in the development of state, national, and international education programs.
Therapeutic Areas of Expertise
The therapeutic areas of activities sponsored by our CME program include, but are not limited to: oncology, dermatology, diabetes, aesthetic medicine, hyponatremia, invasive fungal disease, infectious diseases, gastroenterology, respiratory disease, cardiovascular disease, men's health, rheumatology, and thrombosis.
Categories of learners targeted for education include:
- US-based physicians and other healthcare professionals who participate in local, regional, or national activities
- International healthcare professionals who attend national conferences and/or access internet CME activities
Types of Activities
The types of activities developed include:
- Live activities (symposia, local and regional meetings, hospital-based/Grand Rounds, hands-on and simulation workshops, satellite broadcasts)
- Enduring materials (DVDs, peer-reviewed journal supplements, print monographs/newsletters)
- Internet/electronic activities (websites, interactive cases, webinars, podcasts, apps)
Paradigm develops activities designed to meet the educational preferences of our learners. This means that multiple formats are considered and implemented based on the needs of each target audience and educational intervention.
The results expected from all educational activities are a demonstrated change in the competence and/or performance of health care professionals that will ultimately impact patient outcomes. Continued program evaluation and assessment assists us in ensuring that activity content is relevant to learner's current educational needs.
