Facial Aesthetics - A Complimentary CME Training Program on Injectables for Residents and Fellows – This regional meeting series was part of a multi-platform CME initiative, designed specifically to educate resident and fellow physicians about aesthetic neurotoxins and dermal fillers through didactic lecture, high definition case study videos, interactive discussion, and hands-on training.
Advances in Cosmetic Therapy (ACT): A Focus on BoNT-A– This print publication provided background on the aesthetic uses of injectable botulinum neurotoxins, described the various available agents, and provided an understanding of facial anatomy. Part of a multi-component certified CME initiative; this publication addressed the needs of aesthetic care professionals including plastic surgeons, facial plastic surgeons, ocular plastic surgeons, dermatologists, ophthalmologists, and other healthcare providers who incorporate aesthetic procedures in their practice. Faculty included Michael A. C. Kane, MD, and Gary D. Monheit, MD.
AestheticCare.org - An interactive educational website that houses on-demand CME education and upcoming live event registration. This portal incorporates unique graphics and video as part of actual case studies to demonstrate the aesthetic uses of BoNT-A in the upper and lower face. It contains expert-driven, practical, clinical information that plastic surgeons, facial plastic surgeons, ocular plastic surgeons, dermatologists, ophthalmologists, and other healthcare providers who incorporate aesthetic procedures in their practice can employ in the care of their patients.

Noninvasive Injectables in Facial Aesthetic Therapy - A live satellite symposium for attendees of the Dermatology Nurses’ Association (DNA) 29th Annual Convention moderated by Ronald Moy, MD. A collaborative endeavor with the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Nursing, this CNE-certified activity was designed for dermatology nurses, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare providers interested in dermatology and facial aesthetic therapy using neuromodulators and dermal fillers—the two most common nonsurgical aesthetic procedures—and incorporated both hands-on training using head model technology and observation of live faculty injection demonstrations.

 

Practical Training in Facial Aesthetics - A series of live regional meetings that utilized the most advanced educational learning tools available and featured a review of relevant scientific literature, a discussion of clinical and practical experiences, case study presentations, and live demonstrations. In collaboration with EduPro Resources, LLC, this activity was designed for nurses, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants.
